Today, candidates ask detailed questions about training and mentoring programs, promotion paths, opportunities to change roles within the organization, or support in obtaining certifications and learning new technologies.<\/p>\n<p>This is also reflected in research: the lack of development prospects is one of the most frequently cited reasons for leaving a job. In Poland, we\u2019re still maturing toward this approach. In many organizations, development ends with a few annual trainings, but more and more examples of comprehensive programs are emerging.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Challenges to consider<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Partnership in development isn\u2019t without its obstacles. Companies face, among others:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Costs and time<\/strong> \u2013 investing in development requires resources not every company has in abundance.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Fit and personalization<\/strong> \u2013 not every program works everywhere; tailoring to organizational and individual needs is key.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Expectations<\/strong> \u2013 employees may want more than the company can realistically offer.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>That\u2019s why honesty is crucial \u2013 it\u2019s better to clearly communicate the scope and opportunities than to promise \u201cunlimited growth\u201d that can\u2019t be delivered.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>What\u2019s next?<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>The employer as a partner in employee development is a direction that cannot be stopped.
